SAN PEDRO: GARBAGE DUMPING SITE

Even at this time the Observer blogs, garbage dumped at shoulders of the national highway can be seen. Down some canals and embamkments these are there and too many to collect and mind you these are getting very very serious so that every night passing means another sacks of them will be thrown there.

The Chief CVO of the Barangay said, they are trying to identify people doing this, but witnesses are uncooperative they don't tell and keep their tongues tied.

They are monitoring, he said,and is hopeful they will catch garbage dumpers at the right moment. San Pedro Bgy.Chairman Karel Carbonilla said this is indeed one big problem because,she said the town is no longer has a landfill. The Chairman of Bgy.Oguis she added. no longer permit garbage to be dumped there.

Garbage is seemingly not a problem today for Bgy. Poblacion. This is what the Observer recently noticed that drove him meeting officials in their office.

The secretary and the treasurer gave reasons why Kapitan Yoyong Galarroza is succeeding in his implementation in the barangay of the anti-garbage laws so that Poblacion, they said, may be clean and free of garbage.

Not only on words but actions the Chairman showed,they stressed, and that he exercised backbone in getting across the message of garbage public education that some wewre already got caught dropping wrappers in the vicinity of the public market and paid One Hundred Pesos each for their first offense.

Senior Police Inspector Cipriano Basar recently took over as Initao Police Station Commander replacing the other assigned here Police Inspector Ramil Amatiaga who is said also took the Villanueva post as commander there.
