Sept. 10,2010-In his office Monday, Initao Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Ariel Galarroza said that Kamelon-Tawantawan road project is costing the government nine million pesos and he is to defend and qualify this in the DA-regional office Sept.17.
This road, Galarroza said, is one of the six proposed for Initao MRDP (Municipal Road Development Program) amounting to 58 million pesos and funded by World Bank
And he said he will try to negotiate funding increase for said road considering only .5km of the total 1.8km, the upper portion of that is, as far as he knows, guaranteed of getting cemented. Of course canals and some culverts are must components to protect from time to time water surges, Gallaroza added.
