ELDERLIES ARE TAKING CARED FOR

Ms. Susan Dadole, Acting Social Welfare and Development Officer of Initao recently informed this blogger that it's different now that two years ago when some old folks were in so many ways neglected and not cared for the way they must by some siblings, when some were left to fend for themselves-begging. Dadole said that when they implemented government programs for senior citizens, differently-abled persons, etc. were benefactors of privileges as pensions, health care that they no longer considered as burdens to their children. Government assistance programs have positive effects on families that have elderlies in their care, they are a big help for them, she said.
