INITAO ROAD PROJECTS UNFINISHED

This afternoon in his office, Initao Municipal Development Officer Ariel Galarroza told the Observer that the President's road projects for Initao remain unfinished and the right person to ask for these is the Municipal Engineer who is in-charge of monitoring and evaluation. For him, Galarroza said, he could not ascertain at what level of accomplishment those projects might be. He could only presume at 30-40% and the responsibility of finishing those is on the contractors' shoulders. They have to really finish them for that would have some negative repercussions if they don't, Galarroza continued. They might be blacklisted or incur revocation of licenses to operate as contractors, he said.
