Calacapan Bgy. Councilor Melvin Aguilar,39 who died last Friday of cardiac arrest is scheduled to be buried in the Catholic cemetery by noon today is as of this writing already in the Roman Catholic church in Poblacion, Initao, Misamis Oriental.
The councilor's sister said yesterday that Melvin was not sick, he was taken on a motorcycle for the hospital after he felt breathing was hard, and consequently he died along the way.
Melvin's wife said they were eating their supper with sinugbang pidlayan after which he laid down for a good day's rest on their bench. Then and there he complained he could not breath right.
Tragically, it was Aguilar's last supper and his last breath, pidlayan killed him.
