MCTC Clerk of Court Melody Almeda said that this afternoon, a defeated candidate for chairmanship of Bgy. Calacapan Vicente Jajalla filed a petition for recount of ballots of the just concluded elections.
Jajalla, she said, is not satisfied with the result, he went to their office and deposited the required amount Php 30,000.00 that is said to have been contributed by his Higaonon tribe constituents.
The recount is yet to be scheduled as there are yet summons to be issued and served to those who are involved, Almeda said.
