Yesterday Datu Jake Lundahay, municipal chieftain of Higaonon tribe of Initao said that they will be represented in the Sangguniang Bayan by next year, and he stressed that he may sit as member of SB when budget for the slot is approporiated this year.
Datu Jake assured that the Mayor and the SB are already one in making the aspiration of their tribe to be represented in the local governance and they will no longer be marginals as what they are today.
He said they belong to the NCIP (National Commission of Indigenous Peoples),and have legal guarantees.
