BARANGAY ELECTIONS SET IN MAY

Section 1.1 of R.A. 10923 says, "subsequent synchronized barangay elections shall be held on the second Monday of May 2020 and every (3) three years thereafter". So after next year's 2017 election of barangay officials on the fourth Monday of October, the next is no longer in that month but May the same as that of the National and local elections, only that these are held on the first Monday and a year later.
