OTHER SC GROUP ORGANISED

A separate group of senior citizens in Barangay San Pedro was organized 30 January. This was due to flawed administration that a number of senior citizens agreed to form themselves to prevent conflict with the officers of the existing association. Aside from this obvious reason, the objective of this second group is to enjoy privileges that are provided for in the senior citizens law other than what the government has been giving but those that private entities have-NGOs, corporations that have items in their budgets for community service that they donate to non-profit organisations such as ours for tax deduction purposes.
